Innalillah.

I woke up from a nap to a shocking news that Harun Salim Bachik passed away unexpectedly late afternoon earlier. We all knew him from Maharaja Lawak Mega when he joined the show and worked together with his good friend, Afdlin Shauki to form ‘Boboi‘. I’ve also known him since I was very young when the drama ‘Rumah Kedai‘ was so popular back then. It reminds me of my childhood Ramadan.

I can’t imagine what his family, especially his wife must be feeling right now. From another source, they said he was driving back to Kuala Lumpur from Penang after attending a wedding reception. When people passed away so suddenly, the news leave a strange feeling in all of us – that anyone including ourselves could suddenly be in our way to meet our maker even when you think you or someone else is healthy.

We lost yet another great Comedian and a kind-hearted soul.

My heartfelt condolences to the family of Harun Salim Bachik.
May his soul rest in peace. Amin.
Al-fatihah.
